Joint effort needed to overcome
Covid
NSW lockdown is extending from Sydney to the
regional towns with case number lingering around
the same level. No signs of dying down despite
no exponential jump. Mainly due to the relatively
loose restrictions intended to minimise economical
damage, people were allowed certain movement
giving them the impression that the situation was
still fine. Thus the virus still hanged around for so
long with a risk of getting out of control down the
track.
Victoria has been better off as residents
have get used to the repeated lockdowns so they
understand and appreciate what to follow and
sit tight. Still we are not out of the woods yet as
infectious cases have not been in full isolation. It is a
hard and delicate time for the Victorian government
to handle with great care on any possible outbreak
again.
The deadlock was caused by the highly
contagious Delta variant which is also taking toll on
the younger age groups. Both NSW and Victorian
governments know that the only way out is to
get 70% or 80% of the population under vaccine
protection.
The outbreaks now really drive people to
take up the jabs and boost the rollout quick, but
provided the Federal government could maintain
and streamline the vaccine supply. Unfortunately
we are just over stocked with the AstraZeneca doses
which the public is hesitate accept due to negative
propaganda thus far.
Actually both state governments allow the 18-
39 age group to take AstraZeneca with an informed
consent. There has been encouraging response from
them in the past few days and hopefully this trend
can help boosting people’s confidence as well as the
inoculation rate of the nation.
To counteract those confusion and
misinformation on Covid vaccine, Australian
government must strengthen proper promotion
especially for those multicultural communities.
To gain personal life protection against the Delta
rampage, and in the interest of families, friends,
communities and the whole nation, vaccination is
the only way out. Chinese community bodies should
show support by coming forward together to fight
this Covid war.

The latest Mercedes-AMG GLA45 S
4Matic+ marks a new era in the history
of Mercedes-AMG – the performanceoriented
automaker redefines the brand
with a completely redesigned appearance
and enhanced performance.
The GLA45 S backs up its racy look
with its AMG-forged engine. A hand-built
4-cylinder turbocharged engine generates
310kW and a maximum torque of 500Nm
through an 8G-DCT 8-speed automatic
transmission.
Its AMG Performance 4MATIC+ is
evens more gripping, with up to 100%
rear-wheel drive.
Aside from its improved performance,
the German luxury marque significantly
enhanced the GLA45 S by deploying
technologies previously unavailable from
its predecessors, such as the Active
Brake Assist, Speed Limit Assist, and
Attention Assist.

These LED tail lamps react quicker
in case of a sudden stop, preventing
accidents. These high-performing tail
lights emit more vibrant colours that are
much more noticeable, helping you and
other drivers are safe on any road, even
at night. Because they use low-power,
LED lamps last longer than other lights.
LED High-Performance Headlamps
A collection of the best lighting
technologies in one, featuring anti-dazzle,
anticipatory, and navigation-assisted light
functions.
This type of headlamp responds
faster and more accurately to surrounding
light conditions and the light coming from
an approaching car.
Compared to traditional headlamps,
the MULTIBEAM LED illuminates a
road much brighter under any weather
condition, without dazzling other drivers.
Panoramic Sunroof
As standard, the car gets a massive
glass panoramic sunroof that displays a
skyward view to both front and rear-seat
passengers.
Besides a fun-filled driving
experience, this feature also gives an
open space feeling, a brighter and
friendlier atmosphere inside the cabin.
It also comes with a power interior
shade that allows passengers to adjust
and control the amount of sunlight that
enters the cabin.

The new AMG Performance Steering
Wheel combines ultimate functionality
with seamless ergonomics. It comes as
standard in Nappa leather with DINAMICA

It has a flat bottom containing the
AMG logo, with AMG shift paddles that
rest in hand perfectly.
This feature lessens driver distraction

Service intervals are every 12 months
or 20,000km, whichever occurs first,
and the first five services are available to
purchase for $4,300 or four services for
$3,700 or three services for $3,000.
Verdict
Not only suited for people who are
interested in driving or enthusiasts, but you
also get a lot of space to haul your family
from place to place in a safe, comfortable,
and luxurious manner. The suspension is
a revelation. It has excellent body control
while still being able to deliver ride comfort.
It is a fun car to drive.
