SC HAS GAINeD a central position in three main areas. One is the civil
works sector with special emphasis on the industrial and bridge building
field. Secondly we have the energy sector with both power plants
based on fossil energy such as coal, oil, gas and the renewables based
on wind. Finally, we have a special place within the oil and gas sector
where we have been active throughout the world in the last 35 years.
We have here achieved to be rated the best offshore consultants in Denmark.
It is within these sectors we have our key abilities. Our plan is to keep
on growing organically in order to maintain the professional know-how
embedded in our personnel. It is the wide ranged knowledge together
with the unique skills we possess within the special niches where we are
superior that generates the basis for our future development.
We hold a central position in the oil and gas sector where we have designed
offshore installations for our clients for more than 35 years. Our
clients comprise all oil and gas producers in the North Sea in Denmark
and in Norway and several producers around the world as well. We have
in this sector a well-established position and a good reputation and we
have our quality assurance system to secure that this position is held
also in the future.
Since 2003 we have acquired a main position in the renewable energy
sector. We can most likely boast off being the company that has put
most substations on the map since we established the first in the world
in Nysted just off the southern Danish coast.
Of course we also here have to keep focus on the excellent relationship
we have established within the public sector, constructing interesting
and challenging buildings. We have achieved a SKI agreement applicable
for contracts with all municipalities in Denmark.
We have an excellent relationship with a long list of contractors where
we in joint ventures take part as consultants. These collaborations have
resulted in several interesting assignments – lately the large bridge
across the Sundsvall Fjord in Sweden.
Airport design has always been one of our main operating fields. We
have since 1967 held a central position here not least in Copenhagen
Airport – but in Billund and Roenne airports as well. We are still there
and will continue to participate with our attained know-how both nationally
and internationally.
We will keep on educating our personnel, so they are prepared for the
requirements demanded in the future for sustainable constructions
meeting the standards and demands - and the demands that might
come.
It is a primary goal that ISC also in the future continues to be the preferred
working place for the young engineers who wish to deal with
advanced, inspiring and innovative assignments – young engineers
that wish to pick up the challenge and at an early stage in their career
achieve a large amount of responsibility. We aim – also in the future – to
continue our organic growth, as it has proven to be the right track for
ISC in order to assure a well consolidated business and a safe comprehensive
training of our new employees in a technical environment. It has
never been a primary goal for ISC to be the biggest - we do not make
headcounts – we merely aim to be the best within the activity areas we
have chosen as our main track. This is the guarantee we give our engineers
and designers – a secure and challenging working place.
