En tur i det gamle grænseland lige syd for<br />
<strong>Kolding</strong> er en rejse i Danmarkshistorien.<br />
Efter nederlaget til preusserne i 1864<br />
blev grænsen trukket ved den gamle<br />
Brødremeninghedsby, Christiansfeld og<br />
videre mod Vamdrup. Det præger<br />
området, hvor man for eksempel kan<br />
spise en god middag på Den Gamle<br />
Grænsekro, der er Kongeligt Privilegeret.<br />
Kroen var grænsetoldstation fra 1864 til<br />
1920.<br />

Close to history and the<br />
old border<br />
A trip around the old border region just<br />
south of <strong>Kolding</strong> is a trip through Danish<br />
history. After the defeat to the Prussians<br />
in 1864 the frontier was drawn at the old<br />
Moravian Brethren town of Christiansfeld<br />
and on towards Vamdrup. It marks the<br />
area in which you can for example have<br />
a lovely dinner at Den Gamle Grænsekro<br />
(The Old Frontier Inn), which has a Royal<br />
License. The inn was a frontier custom<br />
house from 1864 until 1920.<br />
Geschichte hautnah erleben<br />
an der alten Grenze<br />
Eine Tour durch das alte Grenzland<br />
südlich von <strong>Kolding</strong> ist eine Reise durch<br />
die Geschichte Dänemarks. Nach der<br />
Niederlage gegen die Preußen 1864<br />
wurde bei der alten Brüdergemeinde<br />
Christiansfeld und weiter Richtung Vam-<br />
drup die Grenze neu gezogen. Das prägte<br />
die Gegend. Noch heute dient der königlich<br />
privilegierte Gasthof Den Gamle Grænsekro<br />
– zwischen 1864 und 1920 war der<br />
Gasthof gleichzeitig Zollgrenzstation– als<br />
Restaurant.
