Den größten Einzelauftrag in ihrer jeweiligen
Firmengeschichte konnten kürzlich
KRONE und die Trailer-, Vermiet- und Leasinggesellschaft
General Electric (GE) verbuchen.
GE’s TIP Trailer Services hat 1.000
Profi Liner und Mega Liner von KRONE
erworben, die für den in Dänemark beheimateten
internationalen Logistik-Konzern
DFDS Transport Group A/S bestimmt sind.
Sowohl DFDS als auch GE haben schon
mehrmals mit KRONE zusammengearbeitet.
„Unsere Erfahrungen mit KRONE-Trailern
und den Menschen dahinter waren
immer positiv“, sagte So/ren Lund, Einkaufsleiter
bei DFDS. Für Dr.-Ing. E.h. Bernard
Krone, Inhaber und Beiratsvorsitzender
der Bernard Krone Holding GmbH & Co.
KG, ist der Auftrag die Folge einer langen
Zusammenarbeit. „Dass Kunden wie DFDS
und TIP sich bei einem solchen Auftrag für
KRONE entscheiden, zeigt, dass unser Weg,
kompromisslos auf Produktqualität und
Kundennähe zu setzen, von unseren Kunden
geschätzt wird“, so Dr. Krone.
KRONE and the trailer, rental and leasing
company General Electric (GE) recently
landed the largest single order in their
respective company histories. GE’s TIP
Trailer Services purchased 1,000 Profi
Liners and Mega Liners from KRONE,
destined for the Denmark-based international
logistics firm DFDS Transport
Group A/S. Both DFDS and GE have already
worked with KRONE on several occasions.

result of a long co-operation. “That
customers like DFDS and TIP choose
KRONE for such an order shows that
customers appreciate our strategy of
relying without compromise on product
quality and close customer relations”, Dr.
Bernard Krone says.
Achsen-Leichtgewicht / Axle lightweight
DCA Weightmaster
KRONE Partner DaimlerChrysler hat eine
noch leichtere Trailerachse entwickelt. Das
Nachfolgemodell der Durable Compact
Axle (DCA), die DCA WEIGHTMASTER, trägt
mit ihrer Gewichtsreduzierung von bis zu
31 Kilogramm zur Erhöhung der Fahrzeugnutzlast
sowie zur Steigerung der Transporteffizienz
für den Spediteur entscheidend
bei. Das modular aufgebaute Baukastensystem
deckt alle Fahrzeuganwendungen
im Neun-Tonnen-Achssegment ab und
verringert die Teilevielfalt im Service deutlich.
Neben der DCA WEIGHTMASTER rundet
die DLS-Lenkachse das Produktportfolio
perfekt ab. Durch die Anordnung der
Spurstange in Fahrtrichtung hinten im
DLS-Lenkachse / DLS steering axle
oberen Bereich der Achse wurde ein ausgesprochen
kompaktes Aggregat mit einer
großzügigen Bodenfreiheit entwickelt. Die
neue Lenkachse kann mit der DCA
WEIGHTMASTER kombiniert werden und
komplettiert zudem durch einen großen
Fahrhöhenbereich das neue Konzept.
KRONE’s partner, DaimlerChrysler, has
developed an even lighter trailer axle. The
successor to the Durable Compact Axle
(DCA), the DCA WEIGHTMASTER, makes a
significant contribution, with a reduction
in weight of up to 31 kilogrammes, to an
increase in the vehicle load capacity and
an improvement in the transport efficiency
for haulage companies. The modularly
structured system covers all vehicle
applications in the nine tonne axle segment
and considerably reduces the variety
of parts for servicing. In addition to the
DCA WEIGHTMASTER, the DLS steering
axle rounds off the product portfolio
perfectly. By positioning the track rod at
the top rear of the axle in the driving
direction, an extremely compact unit with
a generous ground clearance was
developed. The new steering axle can be
combined with the DCA WEIGHTMASTER
and rounds off the new combined concept
with a high clearance range.
