ultimedia bedeutet für den Nutzer mehr Funktionalität. Natürlich will
Mdieses Plus an Komfort auch bedient werden. Da die sicherheitstechnischen
Aspekte im Fahrzeug kein endloses Einstellknopfsuchen
zulassen, verlegt die Autoindustrie immer mehr Schaltfunktionen von der
Mittelkonsole zum Fahrer hin. Somit bleibt der Blick des Fahrzeugnutzers
bei den Geschehnissen des Strassenverkehrs. In der Praxis wandern
Funktionen wie Klimaeinstellung und Regelung der Fahreigenschaften zu
einem Knopf an der Mittelarmlehne und werden dann auf einem Display
über der Mittelkonsole im Blickwinkel des Fahrers angezeigt. Die Radioeinstellungen
wie Lautstärke und Sendersuchlauf werden ergonomisch
geschickt den Lenkrädern implantiert. Durch die entsprechende Haptik
kann die Funktion „ertastet“ werden ohne die Hand vom Steuer zu nehmen
und ohne von der Straße wegzublicken. Wer gelernt hat sein Radio in
dieser Weise fernzubedienen möchte diesen Komfort nicht mehr missen.
Da aber die meisten Originalradios der Fahrzeughersteller im Gegensatz
hierzu eher arm an Komfort sind, regt sich der Wunsch nach einem besser
ausgestattetem Entertainment-System. Bisher war die „Verheiratung“ der
Lenkradfernbedienung mit Becker-Systemen möglich (Interface 2.
Generation z.B. 61010).
Mit Erscheinen der 3. Generation ist es jetzt möglich noch mehr Kombinationen
zu bilden. Eine neue, prozessorgesteuerte Schnittstelle wurde
geschaffen, um die Fernbedienungsanschlüsse weiterer Radiohersteller
anzusteuern. Dies alles natürlich unter Beibehaltung der vollen
Kompatibilität zu den verschiedenen Fahrzeugen; und täglich kommen
neue hinzu.
Die 3. Generation beweist einmal mehr, dass sich Komfort, Individualität
und Kompatibilität in einer Elektronik vereinigen lassen: Mit der passenden
Elektronik und dem entsprechenden Kabelsatz lassen sich rund 50
verschiedene Fahrzeugtypen mit vielen remotetauglichen Radiogeräten
von 6 Herstellern verknüpfen. Diese enormen Kombinationsmöglichkeiten
geben jedermann die absolute Freiheit bei der Wahl der Headunit. Der
individuelle Geschmack wird in seiner Entfaltung nicht durch den Verlust
von Funktionalität gehemmt; oder einfacher gesagt: Nehmen sie doch das
Radio, das ihnen gefällt.

Multimedia means more functionality for the user. This gain in comfort of
course has to be handled by the driver. As an endless search for the
adjustment knob in the car is too dangerous, the car industry more and
more often relocates the switching function from the centre console to the
driver. Thus the driver’s attention is unrestrictedly on the road. In practice,
functions like air conditioning and riding quality are now adjustable by a
knob at the centre console and are indicated on a display above the centre
console in a convenient angle from the driver’s seat. The radio settings
as volume and channel search are implanted ergonomically clever into the
steering wheels. By means of the respective haptics the function can be
„felt“ without taking away the hand from the steering wheel and without
averting the eyes from the road. Once learned to operate the radio by
remote control you will never do without it. Due to the fact that most
ex-works radios are not equipped with this comfort, the desire of a better
equipped entertainment system arises. Up to now the „marriage“ between
the steering wheel remote control and Becker systems have been possible
(Interface 2nd generation e.g. 61010).
With the appearance of the 3 rd generation it is now possible to build more
combinations. A new process-controlled interface was created to
address the remote control connections of further radio manufacturers.
Of course, the compatibility to the different types of cars must be maintained
– and there are more of them each day.
The 3 rd generation once more proves that a unification of comfort, individuality
and compatibility can be made in one electronic equipment. By
means of this equipment and the respective cable kit it is possible to combine
about 50 different types of cars with remote-suitable radio units of 6
manufacturers. This great number of possible combinations enables each
customer to choose his own head unit. The individual taste is not restricted
by the loss of functionality – or simply said – choose the radio you like!
