Interface 1250
Multimedia Interface zum
Anschluss einer externen
Videoquelle (z.B. DVD Player)
an die BMW 16:9 Navigation
im 3er E46 und 5er E39,
wenn kein original TV Tuner vorhanden ist. Wird der TV
Tuner durch das Interface ersetzt, muss zusätzlich der Adapter
1257 installiert werden. Das Interface wandelt das analoge Bildsignal
(PAL oder NTSC) der Nachrüstgeräte in ein digitales Signal um. Zum
Einspeisen des Audio Signals wird der Signalweg des Kassetten- bzw.
des CD- Laufwerks benutzt. Der Ton wird somit in Stereo wiedergegeben.
Adapter 1257
Um den Einbau des Multimedia Interfaces 1250,
1260, 1265 oder 1266 in ein Fahrzeug mit vorhandenem
original TV Tuner zu ermöglichen, muss dieser
ausgebaut und durch den Adapter 1257 ersetzt werden.
Interface 1260
Gleiche Funktion wie 1250,
dieses Interface wurde
jedoch für die Installation
im BMW X5 entwickelt.
Interface 1265
Gleiche Funktion wie 1250,
dieses Interface wurde
jedoch für die Installation
im BMW Z4 und Mini
entwickelt.

Freischaltmodule für Rückfahrkamera
Stand by modules for rear view camera

Schaltet den Eingang der Rückfahrkamera eines BMW
TV-Tuners während der Fahrt frei. Folgende Fahrzeuge
sind kompatibel: 3er E46, 5er E39, X5 E53, 7er E38,
Rover 75, Range Rover.

Ermöglicht die Freischaltung des Bildes einer angeschlossenen
Rückfahrkamera während der Fahrt bei Monitornavigationen in
CAN Datenbus vernetzten Fahrzeugen. So z.B. Audi A3 und A4
mit Navigation RNS-E, A8 mit MMI, Bentley Continental, BMW 5er
E60, 7er E65, Mercedes E-W211, E-W210 und C-W203 mit original
TV Tuner, Porsche Cayenne mit PCM 2.1 und original TV Tuner,
VW mit 16:9 Navigation MFD2 / RNS2 und Phaeton.

Interface 1250
Multimedia Interface for connection
of an external video source (e.g.
DVD player) with the BMW 16:9
navigation in the series 3 E46
and series 5 E39, when no original
TV tuner is installed. If it is intended to
replace the original TV tuner by this interface,
adapter 1257 has to be installed additionally.
This interface converts the analogue picture signal
(PAL or NTSC) into a digital one. For feeding
in the audio signal, the signal path of the cassette/
CD player is used. Reproduction of audio is
consequently possible in stereo.
Adapter 1257
For a replacement of the factory fitted TV tuner in
a car by Multimedia Interface 1250, 1260, 1265
or 1266, the adapter 1257 has to be used.
Interface 1260
Similar features as 1250, but developed
for installation in BMW X5.
Interface 1265
Similar features as 1250, but developed
for installation in BMW Z4 and Mini.
Interface 1266
Similar features as 1250, but developed
for installation in BMW X3.
1270
Releases the rear camera input from an original
BMW TV tuner while the car is moving. Following
models are compatible: series 3 E46, series 5 E39,
X5 E53, series 7 E38, Rover 75, Range Rover.
1280
Allows the „stand by“ of the picture from a rear viewcamera
connected to a monitor navigation in CAN data
bus net-worked cars while moving. E.g. Audi A3 and A4
with navigation RNS-E, A8 with MMI, Bentley Continental,
BMW series 5 E60, series 7 E65, Mercedes E-W211,
E-W210 and C-W203 with original TV tuner, Porsche
Cayenne with PCM 2.1 and original TV Tuner, VW
