Cleaning
Hoigten a felt stitrk with cleÄninq {Iuid and clean
all tape guidance elements. Then dry the cleaned
parts with a new. clean felt sr*ab or cleaning web.
Inportant:
Hal.:e sure that no cleaning {tuid penetrates into
the bearinq t:f the capstän sha+t because this
wolrld datnage the bearing=.
Demagnetizing
Switch sff the tape recorder and move the täpe
gu{{iciently {ar awäy from the reccrder- Slowly
move the tip o{ the enerqized choke into very close
proximity of the part to be demagnetized and after
a brief tnotnent retract it slar"lly. Repeat this
procedure for all metal parts thät cotne in contact
with the tape {soundhEadsr tape guidance elernents.

BOARD 1.777.77['DA and the FLAY AFIPLIFIER BOARD

convert your recordsr to different speeds or to
other equalization standerd.
The REVDX C274 teFe recorderg can easily be
converted to sther tape =peeds.
Yt:u will only need
the trorresponding plug-in boards for the desired
tape speeds of the appliqable equalization =tandsrd
{IEC or NAF).
The equelizätitrn network {or one channel is
imFlemented on Ä pigqy-back plug-in board. This
means that you need 4 piggy-back plug-in boards
