the therapist for facilitating this process with others.

� Sanne Storm (Denmark) is developing and testing a voice assessment tool for
depression whereby the voice will be used as a diagnostic tool.
� Nadine Cadesky’s (Canada) is developing a vocal tension measurement instrument.
� The increased awareness of voicework as an important instrument for human health
promotion in music therapy suggests that more research is needed to build a body of
evidence indicating its efficacy.
