7.3 Country Specifics<br />
As intercultural competence cannot be trained for all cultures<br />
and contexts and a specific context needs to be defined for<br />
each trainee involved, this module focuses on a country or<br />
countries <strong>of</strong> the trainees’ choice. The identification <strong>of</strong> important<br />
features <strong>of</strong> the chosen country, e.g. with reference to<br />
factual information, cultural characteristics or rules <strong>of</strong> polite<br />
behaviour, culminates in the trainee giving a presentation on<br />
the country concerned.<br />
