Winds of Silence<br />
“The one leaf that evokes the littered forest floor. The forest seen in a single tree,<br />
branches swaying in the wind, flowers follow the path of the sun, slowly reaching<br />

A Scottish jeweller, printmaker and painter born in Edinburgh, she studied at the<br />
Duncan of Jordanstone School of Art, Dundee, Scotland from 1975-79. In 1980<br />
after completing a post-graduate year of study, specialising in jewellery and photography,<br />
she was awarded The Scottish Education Department Major Travel Scholarship.<br />
From 1980-83 she studied for her Master of Arts at The Royal College of<br />
Art in London. Travelled extensively after finishing college and on her return to<br />
London, she studied printmaking for three years and set up a studio there. Since<br />
1991 she has lived and worked in Barcelona, Spain. From 2000 until the present,<br />
she has taught at the Massana School of Art in Barcelona and since 2009 at Taller<br />
Perill, Barcelona, also acting as visiting lecturer in schools in Germany, Portugal,<br />
Scotland, Spain and USA. Her work has been shown extensively at galleries and<br />
museums around the world.<br />
