In 2018, colour trends once more
inspire our interior furnishings and
provide us with ideas of how our
homes might look in the near future.
For example, jazzy colours such as
rich blue or fuchsia, combined with
more balanced and calmer brown
tones. This year, spaces for relaxation
are created that might surprise
us with bold, colourful accents.
Even daring colour combinations
are up and coming: Living rooms,
bedrooms and dining rooms are
painted in radiant green, yellow, orange
and blue, resulting in a modern
yet playful look which is kept in
balance by more neutral tones like
dark violet and metallics such as
silver. Also, minimalist colour combinations
are trending again, whereby
monochrome black-and-white
combinations are replaced by soft
green tones as well as sandy and
grey colours. Natural colours like
these harmonise especially well with
soft pinks and create a calm and
cosy atmosphere in your home.
