Harald Paulitsch has been a research assistant at the Institute of Computer Engineering, Real-Time System Group at the Vienna University of Techology since November 2004. He studied Computer Science at the Vienna University of Technology and received his diploma degree in 2005. During his course of study Harald Paultisch visited the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) for one semester. He has commenced his doctoral studies with Prof. Hermann Kopetz as research advisor. During his doctoral studies he visited the Institute for Software Integrated Systems directed by Prof. Janos Sztipanovits at the Vanderbilt University. His main research interest is diagnosis in distributed embedded real-time systems. He takes part in our program already for several years and is actually one of two elected speakers of our students. Time in Time-Triggered Real-Time Computer Systems 14
