Wolfgang Herzer<br />
Wolfgang Herzer startete seine Karriere als Cellist mit 12 Jahren. Seine<br />
Lehrer waren R. Krotschak, S. Popoff und P. Casals. Insgesamt 47<br />
Dienstjahre als Solocellist, davon 33 Jahre als Erster Solocellist der Wiener<br />
Philharmoniker und der Staatsoper. Enge Zusammenarbeit mit allen Größen<br />
der musikalischen Welt als Solist, Kammermusiker und Solocellist. Seine<br />
pädagogische Laufbahn begann er im Alter von 20 Jahren in Graz, und er<br />
wird, solange es seine Schaffenskraft erlaubt, an der Wiener Musikuniversität<br />
als em. o. Univ. Prof. seine lebenslange Erfahrung dem Nachwuchs nach wie<br />
vor zur Verfügung stellen.<br />
Wolfang Herzer started his career as a cellist at the age of 12. His teachers were<br />
R. Krotschak, S. Popoff and P. Casals. Served as solocellist for 47 years, 33 years<br />
of which he was the principal cellist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and<br />
the State Opera Vienna. He has performed with all the great personalities of the<br />
musical world as soloist, chamber musician and principal cellist. His pedagogic<br />
career started at the age of 20 in Graz/Austria. As Professor at the University of<br />
Music Vienna, he wishes to share his life long experiences with young musicians<br />
as long as his creative powers enable him to .<br />

<strong>Allegro</strong> <strong>Vivo</strong>. Studium bei Prof. Kleinecke und Prof. Hübner, Konservatorium<br />
der Stadt Wien, Meisterkurs bei R. Aldulescu in Spanien. Seit 1972 Professor<br />
am Konservatorium der Stadt Wien. 25 Jahre Meisterkurse u.a. bei <strong>Allegro</strong><br />
<strong>Vivo</strong>, Wiener Musikseminar, Mittsommernachtsfestival in Umeá, Schweden,<br />
und Seminare in Japan. Zahlreiche solistische und kammermusikalische<br />
Konzerte. Rundfunk-, CD-Aufnahmen. Konzertreisen in Europa, Südamerika,<br />
Ostasien, Japan. Kursschwerpunkte sind die musikalische Interpretation,<br />
die Verbesserung der Tonqualität und Steigerung des Tonvolumens sowie<br />
das Bewusstmachen und Erkennen der natürlichen, körperlichen und<br />
kräftemäßigen Bewegungsabläufe.<br />

and CD-recordings, concert tours in Europe, South America, Asia, Japan. Emphasis<br />
is laid on musical interpretation, improvement of sound quality and increase<br />
of sound volume, and awareness of the natural, physical and effective courses<br />
of movements.<br />
