Concentus Musicus Wien unter N. Harnoncourt, 2000-09 1. Konzertmeister
und Solist der Wiener Akademie sowie des Barockorchesters und der Hofkapelle
Stuttgart. 1999-2003 Primarius des Anton Webern Quartetts Wien.
Gründer und Leiter des Ensembles Prisma. Konzerte in Europa, Nahen Osten,
Japan, USA, Auftritte bei Festivals u.a. Styriarte, Carinthischer Sommer,
Rheingau-Musikfestival, Händelfestspiele Halle. Zusammenarbeit u.a. mit
E. Kovacic, R. Leopold, C. Hinterhuber, dem Quatuor Mosaique, F. Boesch,
M. Bilson, B. Fink, den Brüdern Kutrowatz. Zahlreiche CD-Einspielungen, u.a.
Gesamteinspielung von Bachs Solosonaten und -partiten. Studium an der
Musikuniversität Wien bei G. Pichler und E. Kovacic. Diplom mit Auszeichnung.
Weitere Studien bei I. Ozim, E. Höbarth, Th. Zehetmair und G. Kurtág.
Since 2006 Professor at the University of Music Vienna. Since 1990 member of the
Concentus Musicus conducted by N. Harnoncourt, 2000-09 first concertmaster and
soloist of the Wiener Akademie, the Barockorchestra and the Hofkapelle Stuttgart.
1999-2003 concertmaster of the Anton Webern Quartet Vienna. Founder and leader
of the Ensemble Prisma. Concerts in Europe, Middle East, Japan, USA, performances
at festivals such as Styriarte, Carinthischer Sommer, Rheingau-Musikfestival, Händelfestspiele
Halle. Performances with E. Kovacic, R. Leopold, Ch. Hinterhuber, Quatuor
Mosaique, F. Boesch, M. Bilson, B. Fink, the Kutrowatz brothers. Numerous CD-recordings
include complete recording of Bach’s sonatas and partitas for solo violin. Studies
at the University of Music Vienna with G. Pichler and E. Kovacic. Diploma with distinction.
Further studies with I. Ozim, E. Höbarth, Th. Zehetmair and G. Kurtág.
