BEYOND STUDY<br />
Beyond study, the <strong>Animationsinstitut</strong> encourages cooperation and exchange<br />
between students, graduates, lecturers and staff. This creates a lively community<br />
that is united by its common interest in all types of animation – no matter<br />
if artistic or technical, linear or interactive. We support each other regarding<br />
networking, teambuilding, idea and project development as well as knowledge<br />
and technology transfer.<br />
OUR FORMER STUDENTS WORK AT...<br />
Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Industrial Light & Magic, Weta,<br />
Framestore, MPC, Scanline VFX, Accenture Song, Pixomondo, Rise FX,<br />
Studio Film Bilder, Ravensburger, M.A.R.K. 13, Studio Soi, Studio Seufz,<br />
Woodblock, Studio Fizbin, Zeitland Media & Games, and many more, or<br />
they have founded their own studios.<br />
GRADUATES<br />
Alumni and Alumnae keep in touch with each other and with the <strong>Animationsinstitut</strong>.<br />
Regular get-togethers, the newsletter of the Filmakademie and<br />
personal profiles on the graduate portal (www.filmakademie-alumni.de) build<br />
the framework of our dynamic graduate network of the <strong>Animationsinstitut</strong>.<br />
TALENT<br />
True to the motto “lifelong learning,” the <strong>Animationsinstitut</strong> offers students<br />
and graduates the opportunity to participate in national and international<br />
talent development programmes. Further, to kickstart professional careers,<br />
we provide support in the matters of intellectual property, sustainable production<br />
and entrepreneurship.<br />
3RD PARTY PRODUCTIONS<br />
With and for external companies, institutions and organisations, the <strong>Animationsinstitut</strong><br />
realises a wide variety of commissioned productions and thirdparty<br />
funded projects at market conditions. These projects enable recent<br />
graduates to continue to work on ideas and team projects that they created<br />
during their studies – often in collaboration with the <strong>Animationsinstitut</strong>’s<br />
Research & Development department.<br />

and creative industries, we work with external partners and institutions<br />
