FMX
The Animationsinstitut works with the FMX program team to develop
content for the international conference FMX. The English-language,
non-profit event is a globally influential conference dedicated to
animation, visual effects, interactive and immersive media.
FMX brings together creative minds and industry experts from around the
world to share and expand their knowledge. Top-notch speakers provide fascinating
insights into the latest developments in the industry in exciting presentations,
interactive workshops, master classes and company suites. At the
Recruiting Hub, renowned studios and companies will be on the lookout for
up-and-coming talent, while at the School Campus, students from different
parts of the world will exchange ideas.
For Animationsinstitut’s students, FMX is a unique opportunity to learn firsthand
about the latest artistic and technological trends and innovations. They
also have the opportunity to showcase their own projects and make valuable
contacts with key industry players.

MORE “ANIMATED” EVENTS IN
STUTTGART
With numerous initiatives as well as major events, Stuttgart
is a central hub for the animation industry. For example, the
annual International Festival of Animated Film Stuttgart (ITFS)
regularly features films by students and graduates of the Animationsinstitut.
The Animation Production Days (APD) also serve
as a complementary business platform for our students to pitch
their projects to the industry.
