Liste denkmalgeschützer Objekte in Lavant
Der Kirchbichl in Lavant mit
den römischen Ausgrabungen:
Auf dem felsigen Hügel stehen die
zwei Wallfahrtskirchen St. Ulrich
(Barockbau) und St. Peter und Paul
(gotisches Kirchenschiff, geschnitzter
Flügelaltar), sowie Kreuzwegstationen
mit einer Kreuzigungsgruppe.
Daneben befinden sich die freigelegten
Überreste einer frühchristlichen
Bischofskirche (2.–5. Jhdt.) und einer
mittelalterlichen Fliehburg. In
dem kleinen Museum am Fuße des
Lavanter Kirchbichls sind Fundstücke
aus mehreren Jahrhunderten zu
sehen. Ein Modell des Hügels führt
anschaulich die exponierte Lage dieses
von tiefen Schluchten umgebenen
Siedlungsplatzes vor Augen, der
nur von Nordosten zugänglich ist.
Öffnungszeiten: tägl. von Ostern -
Allerheiligen, ganztägig
The church hill in Lavant with the roman
excavations: On the rocky hill are the two
pilgrimage churches of St. Ulrich (baroque
building) and St. Peter and Paul (gothic
nave, carved winged altar), as well as stations
of the Cross with a crucifixion group.
Next to it are the excavated remains of an
early christian episcopal church (2nd-5th
century) and a medieval refuge castle. In
the small museum findings from several
centuries can be watched. A model of the
hill illustrates the exposed position of this
settlement site, which is surrounded by
deep canyons and accessible only from the
northeast. Opening hours: daily from Easter
to All Saints‘ Day, all day long.
La collina della chiesa di Lavant con gli scavi
romani: Sulla collina rocciosa si trovano
le due chiese di pellegrinaggio di Sant‘Ulrico
(edificio barocco) e di San Pietro e Paolo
(navata gotica, altare alato scolpito),
nonché le stazioni della Via Crucis con un
gruppo di crocifissione. Accanto ad essa si
trovano i resti scavati di una chiesa episcopale
paleocristiana (II-V secolo) e di un castello
rifugio medievale. Nel piccolo museo si
possono osservare reperti di diversi secoli.
Un plastico della collina illustra la posizione
esposta di questo insediamento, circondato
da profondi canyon e accessibile solo
da nord-est. Orari di apertura: tutti i giorni
da Pasqua a Ognissanti, orario continuato.
