Die Bauten auf dem Leipziger Werksgelände
hat Porsche gemeinsam mit dem
Architekturbüro gmp realisiert. Welchen
Einfluss haben Sie persönlich auf den Planungsprozess
genommen? Was zeichnet
Messemetropole. Auch bei der
Montagehalle mit dem angeschlossenen
Verwaltungstrakt ist es gelungen, die Funktion
mit einer anspruchsvollen Ästhetik in Einklang
zu bringen.
Mit welchen Lösungen konnte Schüco die
Porsche AG hinsichtlich seiner Beratungsund
Produktkompetenz überzeugen?
Umfassende und kompetente Beratung, hervorragende
Produktqualität und absolute
Termintreue – das sind die ausschlaggebenden
Argumente, die für Schüco sprachen. Und mit
dem Ergebnis der ausgeführten Leistungen
sind wir mehr als zufrieden.
Das Interview führte die profile-Redaktion
Porsche worked with the gmp
architectural practice to design the
Leipzig plant. What input did you
personally have in the planning
process? What, in your opinion, is the
outstanding feature of this design?
My colleagues on the board and I had very
clear ideas of what should be built in Leipzig.
Something special and unique – a clear
signal of the economic upturn in this region,
so closely connected to both the successful
history of Porsche and its future. The architects
were very creative in their approach, and the
result is obvious for all to see. The futuristic
customer centre, in particular, with its bold,
sky-scraper architecture of concrete, steel and
glass is now regarded by many experts as one
of the architectural jewels of the exhibition
metropolis in Saxony. The assembly hall with
its adjacent administrative area has also
successfully combined functionality with a
sophisticated design.
What made Schüco stand out for
Porsche AG – in terms of consultancy
and product expertise?
Comprehensive consultancy and expertise,
outstanding product quality and absolute
adherence to deadlines – these were the key
factors in Schüco’s favour. And we are more
than happy with the work that was done.
