¿Alcanzar la paz por
48 Euros anuales?
¡Sería maravilloso si la membresía en EIRENE
Internacional pudiera tener tal efecto!
Lamentablemente, no podemos prometer paz y
justicia mundial. Alcanzar paz y justicia en el mundo
requiere dar muchos pasos pequeños y concretos.
Requiere muchos pequeños y grandes aportes para
EIRENE en trabajo personal y dinero. En el 2011
hubo nuevamente muchos de esos. Por lo tanto,
en nombre de la junta directiva les doy las gracias
a las personas donantes igual que a las numerosas
personas que han colaborado honorariamente.
Quisiera dar las gracias también al
personal en las oficinas centrales
en Neuwied así como al personal
cooperante fuera de Alemania. Con
gran compromiso y profesionalismo
han abogado por nuestras metas.
El mandato de Angela König como
Directora Ejecutiva nombrada por
la asamblea de miembros venció en
Pentecostés de 2012. La despedimos
con agradecimiento por el trabajo de
los últimos años y elegimos a la Dra.
Anthea Bethge como nueva Directora,
quien ya había fungido como
Directora Ejecutiva suplente y Oficial
de Finanzas durante el año pasado.
Este reporte anual demuestra
como estamos abriendo nuevas
perspectivas por medio de nuestro
voluntariado, servicios de paz y proyectos de
cooperación. En total, durante el 2011 EIRENE ha
enviado 84 personas voluntarias y 29 cooperantes
a organizaciones socias. También ha crecido la
membresía de EIRENE. Nos alegramos de poder
darles la bienvenida a las nuevas personas afiliadas,
cuyo apoyo esperamos y necesitamos. Sí aún no es
parte de EIRENE: Les invitamos!
Trabajar de forma profesional y comprometida
hacia la realización nuestra visión de justicia, paz
y preservación de la creación sigue siendo nuestra
meta para el 2012. Nos alegraríamos si usted
apoyara a EIRENE Internacional en este camino.

Peace making for 48
Euros a year?
How marvellous, if membership with EIRENE
International would have this effect! Unfortunately,
we cannot promise to provide for peace and global
justice. To work for peace and justice on a global
scale means: to take many little steps to real change.
It means: to give many little and big contributions to
EIRENE in form of human resources and money. In
2011 this has happened again plentifully. On behalf
of the board I thank all who shared their possessions,
their time and their gifts.
I also give thanks to the
employees at the office in
Neuwied and those working
abroad. They have served our
mission with commitment
and professional expertise.
The mandate of our executive
director Angela König ended
at Pentecost 2012. We bade
farewell to her thanking her
for her achievements. And
we elected a new executive
director: Dr. Anthea Bethge.
She had already stood in for
Angela König as executive
director in the past months
and at the same time been
responsible for the finances
of EIRENE.
This annual report describes
how we open up new perspectives for life through
our volunteers’ and our development service. In
2011 EIRENE sent 84 volunteers and 29 professionals
to work with our partners. Also the number of
members of our organization has grown. We happily
welcome the new members and sponsors. We need
