Two evenings were devoted to musical
performances. A folkloristic group in
their folk costumes from a nearby city of
Strakonice brought to the friendly crowd
music and folk songs from the country
while performing on their violins, bagpipe
and flute. In the second evening
a choir called “Cantuta” from Prague
presented its repertoire full of surprising
contrasts. Their performance was appre-

ciated not only for its artistry, but also
because singing and giving concerts are
parts of activities as a Junior Guild of
Adult Scouts and Guides.
Since Pilsen is the Czech beer capital,
the conference participants could not go
home without an experience in a brewery.
The excursion through the facilities
of the famous Pilsner Urquell brewery
ended in Spilka, one of the restaurants
reconstructed from a
former large cellar.
The banquet was the
last opportunity to
complete the endless
discussions on the
conference theme “We
build our future”. The
Sunday morning rush
let everybody just
shake hands and say
“Goodbye, see you
in three years in Austria”.
