18. Dünya ‹fl Sa¤l›¤› ve Güvenli¤i Kongresi
‹fl Sa¤l›¤› ve Güvenli¤i konusundaki en büyük etkinlik olan 18.
Dünya ‹fl Sa¤l›¤› ve Güvenli¤i Kongresi, 29.06.2008-02.07.2008
tarihleri aras›nda Seul’de yap›ld›. ‹lk gününde “‹fl Sa¤l›¤› ve
Güvenli¤i Seul Beyannamesi”"nin
imzaland›¤› kongreye, 100 ülkeden 2.500
kifli kat›ld›. Kongre örgütünün amac›; ifl
sa¤l›¤› ve güvenli¤i ile ilgili olarak, mesleki
hastal›klar› önleme çal›flmalar›, sa¤l›k ve
güvenlik konulu ortak projeler yolu ile
gelifltirilen yeni teknolojilerden elde edilen
bilgi, bulgu ve tecrübelerin paylafl›m› ile
ifl kazalar›n›n önlenmesine ve çal›flanlar›n
sa¤l›¤›n›n korunmas›na katk› yapmakt›r.
Her üç senede bir seri olarak düzenlen
bu kongrenin güncel ç›kt›lar›n›n,
araflt›rmac›lar›m›z, uzmanlar›m›z ve tüm sektör taraf›ndan
yak›ndan incelenmesi yararl› olacakt›r. Bir sonraki etkinlik olan
19. Dünya ‹fl Sa¤l›¤› ve Güvenli¤i Kongresi 2011 y›l›nda
Türkiye’de yap›lacak.
‹lk mezunlar ifle yerlefltiriliyor
Of Hac› Mehmet Bahattin Ulusoy Anadolu Teknik Lisesi ve
‹MEAK Gemi Sanayicileri Derne¤i taraf›ndan, Türkiye ve AB
deste¤i ile düzenlenen Gemi ‹malat› Teknolojileri Mesleki
Kursu’nu tamamlayan mezunlar ifle yerlefltirilmeye baflland›.
Okul Müdür Yard›mc›s› Kemal Aslan baflkanl›¤›nda kursun ilk
mezunlar› ile birlikte
ikinci kurs grubu
stajyerler bir kafile
halinde ‹stanbul’a
geldiler. Kursiyerlere
Tuzla’daki baz›
tersaneler
gezdirilerek, bilgi
verildi. Daha önce
konuyla ilgili olarak
dergimizde de Prof.
Dr. Ahmet Dursun
Alkan taraf›ndan
kursun önemi ve
tan›t›m› hakk›nda bir
de makale yay›mlanm›flt›. Tersanelerimizde ihtiyaç duyulan
kalifiye ara eleman s›k›nt›s›na çözüm olacak 8.5 ay süreli
kursta, çeflitli testlerle yüzlerce müracaatç› aras›ndan seçilen
30’ar kiflilik kursiyer gruplar›na, uzman e¤itmenler taraf›ndan
Bilgi ve ‹letiflim Teknolojileri, Mesleki Geliflim, ‹flçi Sa¤l›¤› ve
‹fl Güvenli¤i derslerinden mesleki uygulamal› derslere kadar
yedi ay nazari ve 1.5 ay tatbiki staj e¤itimi verildi. Kursiyerlere
Milli E¤itim Bakanl›¤› ve Avrupa Birli¤i taraf›ndan sertifika
veriliyor. Bu proje ile ilkokul mezunundan, yüksekokul mezununa
kadar çok say›da gencimize meslek ve ifl imkan› sa¤lanm›fl
oldu. ‹MEAK GESAD, “Devlet-Sektör-E¤itim” birlikteli¤inin
ürünlerini almaya bafllam›flt›r. Sektörümüze, ülkemize hay›rl›
olmas›n› diliyoruz.
18th World Congress on Safety and Health at Work
Biggest event on Occupational Health and Safety, 18th World
Congress on Safety and Health at Work, was held between
29.06.2008 and 02.07.2008 in Seoul. 2.500 persons from 100
countries participated in the Congress where
“Seoul Declaration on Safety and Health at
Work” was signed in its first day. Purpose
of congress organization is to contribute in
prevention of occupational accidents and
protection of workers’ health by sharing the
works carried out on prevention of
occupational diseases, knowledge, findings
and experience obtained from new
technologies developed by way of common
projects on health and safety. Close
examination of actual outputs of this congress,
which is held once in every three years as series, by our
researchers, experts and entire sector will be beneficial. Next
activity 19th World Congress on Health and Safety at Work
will be held in Turkey in 2011.
The first graduates are getting placed in their positions
The graduates that complete the Professional Course for Vessel
Construction Technologies organized by Of Hac› Mehmet Bahattin
Ulusoy Anatolian Technical High School and ‹MEAK Association
of the Ship Industrialists with the support of Turkey and the
EU are being employed. The first-term graduates of the school
and the interns of the second term
visited Istanbul as a group led by
Kemal Aslan, Vice Manager of the
School. In order to gain general
information, the interns were
invited to visit some shipyards in
Tuzla. With regards to this matter,
another article by Prof. Dr. Ahmet
Dursun Alkan was published in
our magazine, pointing out to the
importance of the course and
introducing it. The 8 and a half
months course will be a solution
to the problem of qualified staff
needed at our shipyards. The
trainee groups of 30 people picked among the hundreds of
applicants using various tests have been provided with seven
months of theoretical training and one month and a half of
professional applied courses from subjects such as Information
and Communication Technologies, Professional Development,
Workers' Health and Work Safety. The trainees are issued
certificates by the Ministry of National Education and European
Union. With this project, many young people from elementary
school graduates to academy graduates have been given the
opportunity for a profession and job. ‹MEAK GESAD has started
to enjoy the benefits of the cooperation between "State-Sector
and Education". We hope it will be beneficial for our sector and
for our country.
