daha önce imzalanm›fl olan protokol çerçevesinde düzenlenen e¤itim<br />
program›n›n ikinci etab›, 17 Temmuz 2008 tarihinde yap›lan bir törenle<br />
Tuzla ‹bni Sina Okulu’nda bafllat›ld›. Törene; Çal›flma ve Sosyal<br />
Güvenlik Bakan› Faruk Çelik, Denizcilik Müsteflar› Hasan Naibo¤lu,<br />
G‹SB‹R Yönetim Kurulu Baflkan› Murat Bayrak, Tuzla Belediye Baflkan›,<br />
kaymakam› ile sektör temsilci ve yöneticileri kat›ld›.<br />
Çal›flma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakan› Faruk Çelik törende<br />
yapt›¤› konuflmada; “Tuzla tersanelerinde çal›flan iflçilerin<br />
ifl sa¤l›¤› ve güvenli¤iyle ilgili e¤itimin, yeni kazalar›<br />
önlemeye dönük bir bafllang›ç olmas›n› temenni etti¤ini”<br />
belirtti. Bakan Çelik, hükümet, özel sektör ve çal›flanlar<br />
olarak tüm çabalar›n Türkiye’nin kalk›nmas›,<br />
sanayileflmesi ve iflsizli¤in ortadan kald›r›lmas›na yönelik<br />
oldu¤unu söyledi. Çelik, söz konusu kalk›nma ve büyüme<br />
hamlesinde insan sa¤l›¤›n›n güvence alt›na al›nmas›n›n<br />
temel koflul oldu¤unu belirterek, “Bu konuda iflverenlere<br />
ve iflçilerimize çok önemli görevler düflüyor. Burada ifade<br />
etmek istiyorum, hükümet olarak bizlerin çok önemli<br />
görevler, sorumluluklar yüklendi¤imizin bilincindeyiz”<br />
fleklinde konufltu.<br />
G‹SB‹R Yönetim Kurulu Baflkan› Bayrak da toplant›da<br />
yapt›¤› konuflmada, Türk Gemi ‹nfla Sanayi’nin son befl<br />
y›lda ola¤anüstü kalk›nma sa¤layarak, Türkiye’nin büyüme ve<br />
geliflmesine büyük katk›lar sa¤lad›¤›n› belirterek, “Türk tersaneleri<br />
2007 y›l›nda, tamir, bak›m ve onar›m dahil üç milyar dolarl›k ihracat<br />
gelifltirmifl. 2008 y›l›n›n ilk dört ayl›k rakamlar›na göre ise siparifl<br />
defteri 267 gemiye ulaflm›flt›r” dedi. Murat Bayrak ‹fl Sa¤l›¤› ve<br />
Güvenli¤i’ne büyük önem verdiklerini anlatarak, “Tersanelerde ‹fl<br />
Sa¤l›¤› ve Güvenli¤inin Gelifltirilmesi ‹flbirli¤i Protokolü’nün ikinci<br />
etab›nda Tuzla ‹bni Sina Okulu’nda, 17.07.2008 - 31.09.2008 tarihleri<br />
aras›nda 21.000 tersane iflçisinin e¤itilmesi uygulamas›n› bafllat›yoruz”<br />
diye konufltu. Törenle bafllat›lan ve devam eden uygulamalarda,<br />
e¤itimlerini tamamlayan iflçilere sertifikalar› verilmeye devam ediyor.<br />
Japon flirketinin günefl enerjili gemi yat›r›m›<br />
Çevreci çal›flmalardaki yar›fl›n k›z›flt›¤› günümüzde iki Japon firmas›,<br />
k›smen günefl enerji tahrikli dünyan›n ilk gemisi için çal›flmaya<br />
bafllad›lar. Japonya’n›n en büyük denizcilik flirketi Nippon Yusen KK<br />
ve Nippon Oil flirketleri, 40 kW güç üreten günefl panellerini<br />
Toyota Motor fiirketi’ne ait 60 bin tonluk bir Ro-Ro<br />
gemisinde kurmay› hedefliyorlar. Günefl panelleri, diesel<br />
jeneratör motorlar›nda kullan›lan fuel oil yak›t miktar›nda<br />
yüzde 6.5 kadar bir tasarruf sa¤layacak. Nippon Oil<br />
fiirketi Genel Müdürü Hideyuki Dohi, gelifltirecekleri<br />
sistemin karbondioksit emisyonunu yüzde 1-2 azaltaca¤›n›<br />
(a¤›rl›k eflde¤eri olarak y›lda 20 ton) öngördüklerini<br />
aç›klad›. Nippon Oil’in tasar›m›n› yapt›¤› günefl panelleri<br />
için Nippon Yusen fiirketi 1.65 milyon YTL (1.40 milyon<br />
$) tutar›nda bir yat›r›mda bulunacak. Günümüzde günefl<br />
panelleri, büyük boyutlu gemilerde yüksek güç üretimi<br />
sa¤layabilse de, mürettebat yaflam bölgeleri için gerekli<br />
gücü k›s›tl› olarak verebiliyordu. Panellerin tuzlu su ortam› ve titreflimle<br />
oluflan kötü etkilerin afl›laca¤› belirtiliyor. Günefl panelli Ro-Ro gemisinin<br />
Aral›k 2008 ay›nda tamamlanmas› planlan›yor. Nippon Oil flirketinin<br />
Yönetim Kurulu Baflkan Yard›mc›s› Ikutoshi Matsumura, önümüzdeki<br />
3-5 y›l içerisinde ürünlerini tam ticari hale getirmeyi hedeflediklerini<br />

Second stage of theeducation program continues<br />
The second stage of the education program organized within the<br />
frame of the protocol signed between the Ministry of Labor and<br />
Social Security General Directorate of Occupational Health and<br />
Safety and ÇASGEM G‹SB‹R (Turkish Shipbuilders Association)<br />
and Dok Gemi-‹fl Union, started with a ceremony at Tuzla Ibni<br />
Sina School on July 17, 2008. Minister of Labor and Social Security<br />
Faruk Çelik, Undersecretary of Maritime Affairs Hasan Naibo¤lu,<br />
G‹SB‹R Chairman Murat Bayrak, Tuzla Mayor, district<br />
governor and sector representatives and executives<br />
participated to the ceremony. At his speech he made at<br />
the ceremony, Faruk Çelik, the Minister of Labor and Social<br />
Security, said “I hope this occupational health and safety<br />
education for workers of Tuzla shipyards will be a start<br />
for preventing occurrence of new accidents”. Minister Çelik<br />
stated that as the government, private sector and workers,<br />
all their efforts are for development, industrialization of<br />
Turkey and eliminating the unemployment. “Securing<br />
human health in this development and growth move is a<br />
crucial condition. Our employers and workers have very<br />
important duties in this issue. I want to emphasize here<br />
that as the government we are aware of the very important<br />
duties and responsibilities we have assumed.”<br />
G‹SB‹R Chairman Bayrak said at his speech that Turkish<br />
Shipbuilding Industry has achieved incredible development<br />
in the last five years and greatly contributed to the growth<br />
and development of Turkey. “Turkish shipyards realized three<br />
billion dollars worth of export, including repair and maintenance<br />
in 2007. According to the first four-month figures of 2008, the<br />
order log has reached to 267 ships” said Murat Bayrak and<br />
explained the importance they gave to the Occupational Health<br />
and Safety. “at the second stage of the Protocol of Cooperation<br />
for Occupational Health and Safety at Shipyards, we initiate the<br />
training of 21.000 shipyard workers at Tuzla Ibni Sina School<br />
between17.07.2008 and 31.09.2008”. During the program that<br />
was started with a ceremony and still continues, the workers, who<br />
have completed their education, are given their certificates.<br />
Solar powered ship investment of Japanese Company<br />
In today's highly competitive environment in terms of environmental<br />
efforts, two Japanese companies have started to work on the first<br />
partially solar-powered ship of the world. Nippon Yusen KK and<br />
Nippon Oil Companies, two biggest maritime<br />
companies of Japan, aim to install 40 kW solar<br />
panels on a 60,000-ton Ro-Ro ship of Toyota<br />
Motor Company. Solar panels will help save up<br />
to 6.5 percent from the fuel oil used in diesel<br />
generator engines. Hideyuki Dohi, General<br />
Manager of Nippon Oil Company, stated that<br />
they expect the system they developed will<br />
decrease the carbon dioxide emission by 1 to<br />
2 percent (equal to 20 tons per year in weight).<br />
For the panels designed by Nippon Oil, the<br />
Nippon Yusen Company will invest 1.65 million<br />
YTL ($1.40 million). Today, even though the<br />
solar panels provide high power generation in big ships, they<br />
could provide limited power for crew living spaces. It is said that<br />
negative effects of the panels created by salty water environment<br />
and vibration will be eliminated. Ikutoshi Matsumura, Vice<br />
Chairman of Nippon Oil Company said they aim to fully<br />
commercialize their products in 3 to 5 years.<br />
