a sweet way – with chocolate – at our<br />

award-winning annual Chocolate Passover<br />

Seder. How many Seders have you<br />

been to that include making s’mores,<br />

strawberries dipped in chocolate and<br />

4 cups of chocolate milk? The evening<br />

includes a fun, interactive Seder<br />

with Scott and Rachel and sing-along<br />

music with Julie, and of course, lots of<br />

We use the Youth Lounge as our base at<br />

the JCC, but go out into the community<br />

almost every day. Our programs are<br />

designed to meet the individual needs<br />

and interests of each day program participant.<br />

We include health and wellness,<br />

volunteering, learning independent living<br />

skills and having fun as part of the<br />

day program package.<br />

After School Care/Respite<br />

Services<br />

Mon.-Fri., 2-6 p.m.<br />

After-school program for 6 th graders and<br />

older based in the Youth Lounge where<br />

participants can play Wii, hit the high<br />

notes with Guitar Hero and sometimes<br />

even do their homework. We have daily<br />

activities designed to be enjoyable as well<br />

as stimulating. We offer several choices<br />

for grades 5 and below. Contact Kristin<br />

Taglit Social Club<br />

This is the place to be if you are 16 or<br />

older! One Sunday a month, we meet<br />

to have some fun. Upcoming planned<br />

activities include a trip to Choc-A-Lot<br />

Gourmet, a Diamondbacks game, a<br />

fancy dinner out and more! Space is limited<br />

to 15 for each event. Email Kristin<br />

Calling all Spanish<br />

Speakers!<br />

The Day Program is seeking volunteers<br />

to tutor our participants in Spanish<br />

conversation and to help reinforce<br />

their basic vocabulary skills. This is a<br />

great way to give to special needs if you<br />

have at least an hour a week to spare.<br />
