Thanks to Ilene Winn-Lederer and Robert Zimmerman, along with Chris Spollen and David Julian for their
input on Chapter 10, plus a note of thanks to Norton Gusky and Brad Reed here, as well.
Woody Coleman put the word out to the PortSort illustrators, as did Ashley Lorenz at the Lilla Rogers Studio.
Special mention to illustrators Greg Manchess and Overton Loyd at this juncture, too—thanks to all
of you for helping network the book.
Thanks must go to Janet Kiefer and those folks at Carlisle Publishers Services who put the book together.
A tip of the hat to all the people at Delmar, but especially Jaimie Wetzel, Tom Stover, and a guitar buddy
who started it all: Jim Gish. Your editorial eye, technical expertise, and market savvy were always right
up front, and I only gained from your counsel and perspective. You know your job, but you never let me
doubt that this was my book, every step of the way.
Finally: If anyone was left out, my sincere apologies; I’ll bring the doughnuts next time around.
