a humanitarian campaign for President Bush’s fund for Afghan children sponsored by the White<br />
House and Red Cross after 9/11. Both a writer and illustrator, Jacki sees the purpose of her work as bringing<br />

Jud Guitteau lives in Portland, Oregon, with his wife Lynn, two children, Annie and Will, and various<br />
household pets. Jud has been illustrating for a large variety of corporate and editorial clients since 1988.<br />
His style has steadily transformed from pastel and scratchboard to primarily digital, and back again to a<br />
combination of acrylic painting and digital work.<br />
Scott Jarrard graduated with a B.F.A in <strong>Illustration</strong> from Brigham Young University. His professional career<br />
began at a video-game developer where he designed, created, and animated characters and backgrounds<br />
for Nintendo of America, EA, Accolade, MGM Interactive, and Marvel. He is currently working<br />
at a design firm as an illustrator. There he has done character design and licensed character work for<br />
Sony Entertainment of America, 989 Studios, and THQ. In his spare time he freelances, creating characters,<br />
illustrations, and logos for his clients. All of his work is completely digital and is created in Adobe<br />

Bill Jaynes is an artist and educator. He illustrates in a free pen and ink with watercolor style which<br />
ranges from whimsical fun to work that dances on the edge of the existential abyss (without falling<br />
in). His commercial clients include: The Wall Street Journal, Forbes magazine, and the Los Angeles<br />
Times, as well as many others. Bill has taught illustration at California State University–Long<br />
Beach, and the Art Institute of California–Orange County. He enjoys family life, which includes<br />

John Jinks moved to New York City in the mid-80s, started out working for clients in the publishing field,<br />
then branched out to advertising as well. Along the way, clients of all genres were included, as were<br />
many awards from publications and his peers. His work has appeared in many national ad campaigns<br />
with a diverse client base from Broadway musicals to the medical fields. His work can be seen on the<br />

Originally from the Boston area, David Julian worked and studied at Harvard’s Biological labs, attended<br />
Massachusetts College of Art, and then relocated to New York City for 17 years. He earned a<br />
B.F.A from Pratt Institute. David worked as a designer, art director, and photographer until 1994. A<br />
need for a change led him to Seattle for a more relaxed lifestyle, western light, and space. Working<br />
in several disciplines, Julian now creates illustration and photography for clients and collectors<br />
