C.F. Payne is a 1976 BFA graduate of Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio. After brief studio stints, he began<br />
his freelance career in Dallas, Texas, in 1980, and has worked for Time Magazine, Esquire, Reader’s Digest,<br />
The New York Times, The Atlantic Monthly, Boys Life, Forbes and Mad magazine, to name just a<br />
few. The illustrator has received national acclaim, has won Gold and Silver awards from the Society of<br />
Illustrators of both New York and Los Angeles, and received the Hamilton King Award from the Society<br />
of Illustrators of New York. C.F. Payne currently works and resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, with his wife,<br />
Paula, and children.<br />
Mike Quon arrived in New York City over 20 years ago and has been making eye-catching graphic design<br />
and illustration ever since. He was raised in Los Angeles, attended UCLA, and furthered his studies<br />
at Art Center College. Mike is an author and lecturer as well as a designer, creative director, and illustrator.<br />
He also works as a consultant on corporate identity development projects for AOL Time Warner,<br />
Estee Lauder/Aveda, JPMorgan Chase, Fortune magazine, KPMG Consulting, and UBS PaineWebber.<br />
Quon recently mounted a fine arts exhibition at the Society of Illustrators in New York City, and his work<br />
is represented in the permanent collections of the Library of Congress and the Wakita Design Museum<br />

From his college days in the heart of Oklahoma to his current staff position with the Pittsburgh Post-<br />
Gazette, Rob Rogers has been creating editorial cartoons with impact. Rogers is nationally syndicated<br />
four times weekly by United Feature Syndicate. His cartoons appear in The New York Times, The Washington<br />
Post, the Chicago Tribune, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. You’ll also find his work in Newsweek,<br />
Business Week, U.S. News & World Report, and USA Today. Rogers and his cartoons have also appeared<br />
on NBC’s “Today,” CBS’s “Face the Nation,” and ABC’s “Good Morning America Sunday.” Rogers was a<br />
finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in 1999 and received the 2000 Overseas Press Club Award, the 1995 National<br />
Headliner Award, and has won eight Golden Quill Awards.<br />
John Rutherford spent two years in the United States Infantry, four years at the Art Center School, and<br />
has been a San Francisco-based illustrator for some 30 years. Presently, he is pursuing figurative fine art<br />
and teaching. His teaching credits include the San Francisco Academy of Art, College of the Redwoods,<br />
and Humboldt State University (in Eureka, CA), and the Mendocino Art Center (Mendocino, CA). Contact<br />

Robert Saunders is a native of Seattle and graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design in its European<br />
Honors Program to Rome. Robert lived for seven years in Italy, where he earned a Master’s<br />
Degree from Rosary College in Florence, while supporting himself as a musician. Upon returning to<br />
