RTC Neemuch Holds 1 st Inter ATC/RTC Training Competition
An Inter ATC/RTC Training Competition
was conducted in RTC Neemuch, in which 17
training institution, imparting training to recruits
at different training locations came together to
compete with each other in various disciplines of
training as has been earmarked by the Training
Directorate. This idea was the brainchild of our
DG Shri K.Vijay Kumar who is a passionate trainer
and has always encouraged healthy competition
and persistent learning. The Competition was a
grand success developing a camaraderie between
the recruits of different institutions bringing them
together on the same platform. It gave them an
opportunity to bring and Share good practices
taught by their institutions and take back life long
memories from RTC Neemuch.
The competition opened with March past and
oath ceremony followed by detailed briefing by the
Board members. In four days of competition, the
recruits toiled hard to put up their best show, be it
in their uniform, bearing, arms drill, weapon drill,
physical efficiency test or their firing skills. The
teams were tested in foot drill, arms drill, weapons

handling, 5 Kms race in PT Dress, 3.2 Kms in
BPET, firing, map reading and BOAC. The Squads
for the competition were selected randomly by the
Training Directorate. The performances given by
the teams is an ample reflection of the efforts put
in by the trainers of respective institutions who
have raised the standard of training. The recruits
were successful in executing what they had learnt
in their training institutions.
The highlights of the competition was the
BOAC. The construction of the BOAC course was
a challenge in itself but the team of officers of RTC
worked in tandem with the CPWD authorities
and under the able stewardship of Principal RTC
Neemuch, the obstacle course was fabricated,
erected and successfully put to use in a record time
of one month. The new BOAC course has been able
to raise the basic physical efficiency of the recruits
as it is tougher and more arduous to negotiate and
requires extreme physical stamina and will power.
RTC Neemuch secured first position followed by
ATC Neemuch and ATC Greater Noida.
RTC Neemuch provided accommodation.

Kumar Sharma, DIG (Trg-II) congratulated the
teams for participating and working hard in
the competition. He appreciated the efforts of
RTC Neemuch for successfully organizing the
competition.
