A2.5 Criteria for Evaluating Requests for<br />

Non-compliance<br />

The Accommodation <strong>Standards</strong> Committee uses the following criteria to evaluate requests for<br />

exemption to the <strong>Workplace</strong> <strong>2.0</strong> <strong>Fit</strong>-<strong>up</strong> <strong>Standards</strong>.<br />

1. Is the request a program requirement?<br />

2. Is the request due to a health and safety issue?<br />

3. Have alternate solutions been appropriately considered?<br />

4. Is the request in the best economic interest <strong>of</strong> the Crown and taxpayer?<br />

5. Does the request demonstrate sound judgment and common sense?<br />

6. Does the request have an impact on the achievement <strong>of</strong> accommodation savings?<br />
