Mother’s Day Celebrated at <strong>Shadow</strong>s<br />
We are excited to report on<br />
the wonderful response to our<br />
first Mother’s Day Champagne<br />
Brunch, hosted at the <strong>Shadow</strong>s<br />
Restaurant. The entire kitchen<br />
staff went above and beyond to<br />
set the ambiance with their pink<br />
and white linen, along with fresh<br />
flowers on each table. The menu<br />
featuring Prime Rib, Turkey,<br />
Tilapia Vera Cruz, and Chicken<br />
Pomodoro was masterfully<br />
prepared by Chef José. He was<br />
also able to work in wonderful<br />
breakfast and dessert items to<br />
round out a complete menu,<br />
celebrating mom’s special day.<br />
While on the subject of popular<br />
choices…our signature fare, the<br />
<strong>Shadow</strong>s Salad, seems to be the<br />
dish of choice for our frequent<br />
visitors. The combination of<br />
mixed greens, candied walnuts,<br />
dates, strawberries, dried<br />
cranberries, blue cheese, topped<br />
with chicken breast and sweet<br />
tarragon vinaigrette, is not only<br />
a healthy selection, but is cool<br />
and refreshing for the hot<br />
summer months.<br />
