These courses are particularly suited for Critical Thinking and Problem<br />

Solving , Professional Competence , Communication and Self-Reflection.<br />

In these courses, design in various areas of the theatre is introduced.<br />

Scripts from plays are analyzed (Critical Thinking), design issues and<br />

challenges are undertaken (Problem Solving), collaboration is both<br />

discussed and practiced (Communication/Self-Reflection) and numerous<br />

skills are developed (Professional Competence) to meet the unique<br />

needs of the designs, which would, of course, change from production to<br />

production.<br />

Our performance oriented courses (TA 141 Fundamentals of Acting, TA<br />

142 Fundamentals of Acting, TA 143 Fundamentals of Acting, TA144<br />

Improvisational Theatre, TA 145 Acting for the Camera, TA 180 Rehearsal<br />

and Performance and TA 244 Advanced Improvisation) all favor Critical<br />

Thinking and Problem Solving , Cultural Awareness Communication and<br />

Self-Reflection.<br />
