2-0401-1 Purpose and Scope<br />

1. Purpose and Scope. This chapter describes the Federal Employees’ Case<br />

Management System ins<strong>of</strong>ar as it records and supports Claims Examiners’ (CEs’) actions<br />

and outlines their responsibilities for maintaining an accurate data base and managing a<br />

case load using the automated system. The Disability Tracking System is addressed in<br />

<strong>FECA</strong> PM 2-0601.<br />
