Objects and Reasons.
The object of this Bill is to amend the Dentists Registration Laws,
1926 and 1936, in the following respects :—
(o) By amending the definition of " Medical Council" in order to
ensure that the Council as constituted for the purposes of the
Dentists Registration Laws shall include one dental practitioner
in private practice.
(6) By repealing section 4, which prescribes the qualifications and
requisites for registration, and by replacing it by a new section in
order to assimilate these provisions to the corresponding provisions
of the Medical Registration Laws.
(c) By repealing and replacing section 13 of the Principal Law by a
new section and by introducing a new section numbered 12A
in order to assimilate the provisions of the Dentists Registration
Laws to the provisions of the Medical Registration Laws.

A BILL
ENTITLED
A LAW TO AMEND THE MEDICAL REGISTRATION LAW, 1936.
BE it enacted by His Excellency the Officer Administering
the Government and Commander-in-Chief of the
Colony of Cyprus as follows :—
1. This Law may be cited as the Medical Registration short title.
(Amendment) Law, 1939, and shall be.read as one with the
Medical Registration Law, 1936, (hereinafter caUed " the 22 of i936.
Pruicipal Law"), and the Principal Law and this Law
may together be cited as the Medical Registration Laws,
1936 and 1939.
2. The following section shaU be inserted in the Principal insertion of
Law immediately after section 16 thereof :— 'leAi^iJ^

(4) Wrhere an order has been revoked under
sub-section (2), the Registrar shaU, on the
payment of such fee, not exceeding the registration
fee, as the Medical CouncU may from
time to time fix, restore to the Register the
name of the medical practitioner to whom
such revocation relates."
3. Section 17 of the Principal Law is hereby repealed Repeal of
