Cutting Continuous Members
While in a loaded joint which contains a continuous member, that is to say a member that
does not have either end in this joint, it was previously impossible to cut the continuous
member. It is now possible to cut the continuous member and save the cut to the end of
another member in the joint. The cutting process is exactly the same as cutting a member
command explained later.
Cutting Tapered Members
Previously it would be necessary to model a tapered or full length cut in the joints at each end
of the member. It is now possible to cut a member along its full length from either end. The
process of cutting the member is exactly the same as a normal cut except you will be
prompted to select the side of the cut you wish to keep.
