The Event<br />
The 2013 International Fitness Showcase is the<br />
ultimate fitness experience for fitness instructors<br />
and enthusiasts. Experience three amazing days of<br />
dance, aerobics, step, combat, conditioning, lectures,<br />
workshops and mind/body sessions that will enthuse,<br />
motivate and excite you for the next 12 months until the<br />
2014 International Fitness Showcase!<br />
The Winter Gardens provides the perfect setting for an event of this stature.<br />
In the late nineteenth century the prospering seaside town of Blackpool set<br />
about the building of a huge, grand and visionary complex across four and<br />
a half acres of its most valuable estate. Unique to Blackpool and recently<br />
restored to its historic grandeur and pristine glory the Winter Gardens is one<br />
of the most amazing buildings in the world. It’s a spectacular meeting place<br />
in a perfect location with the means to cater for more than 10,000 people!<br />

The Presenters<br />
Yet again the presenters showcased this year are among the best in the world<br />
and have travelled from as far a field as Slovenia, Italy, Australia, USA and<br />
beyond. They have been hand picked to provide you with the most amazing<br />
mix of styles, formats and personalities.<br />
Home grown talent is also comprehensively represented with top UK<br />
presenters plus companies such as Antigravity Yoga, Bokwa, Bootcamp<br />
Fitness, BTS, Chek Institute, Chrysalis Promotions, Drummond Education,<br />
Gym Symphonies, Metabolic Effect, Modern Pilates, MyZone, Physical<br />
Company, Piloxing, Premier Training, Pure Energy, Reebok Easytone, Star<br />
Trac Spinning, X Pole International, YMCAFit and Zumba.<br />
To support and nurture new talent in the industry we also have a stream<br />
of new to <strong>IFS</strong> presenters who will be showcasing their talents throughout<br />
the weekend.<br />
The Timetable<br />
With over 257 sessions to choose from there is something to suit everyone’s<br />
needs. We suggest you study the programme on the centre pages very<br />
carefully (which is colour coded to help plan your weekend) and choose 3<br />
sessions for each hour that you wish to take part. Then carefully read and<br />
complete the enclosed Session Selection Sheet and return it to us as soon as<br />
possible. Remember, the sooner you return and we receive your completed<br />
form, the more likely you are to get your first choices!<br />
Trade Show<br />
Situated in The Horseshoe area of the Winter Gardens will be the Trade<br />
Show so come prepared with your credit cards and your shopping shoes<br />
on. A multitude of companies will be exhibiting to provide you with retail<br />
therapy which includes clothing, music, education, workshops and tours,<br />
equipment, training courses, DVDs and books, mind body formats,<br />
alternative health, rehabilitation options and much more.<br />

The Organisers<br />
The International Fitness Showcase is organised and run by Chrysalis<br />
Promotions Limited. The men behind this organisation are two active<br />
fitness presenters in their own right: Ceri Hannan and Steve Watson.<br />
Between them they have over 50 years experience in the Health and<br />
Fitness industry (Yes they really are that old!!!).<br />
Under the Chrysalis umbrella they have pulled together their skills and<br />
talents to organise one of the most exciting and proactive Health and<br />
Fitness events in the Fitness calendar: The International Fitness Showcase!<br />

Day Pass Scheme. The scheme lets them participate in up to 3 workouts<br />
per day in the Zumba Empress Ballroom for just £15.00 per day. You<br />

Evening Entertainment<br />

As ever the evening entertainment is as exciting as the day time activities.<br />
Friday evening is your chance to meet your favourite presenters at the<br />
FREE TO ALL DELEGATES WELCOME PARTY in the The Windsor Bar.<br />
This is the perfect way to get the weekend off to a flying start.<br />
On Saturday we have the 9th Chrysalis Promotions Gala Awards<br />
Dinner and Dance set in the wonderful Pure Energy Spanish Hall. This<br />
will be your chance to unwind after the day’s activities with a 3 course<br />
meal, interactive entertainment and an awards ceremony to recognise<br />
the talent and pioneers in our industry. For further information go to<br />

is followed (from 9.00pm) by a FREE TO ALL DELEGATES PARTY in<br />
