The team at Vivid is very excited about the launch of the company’s
new Matrix 530 single sided laminator, which will be demonstrated
on Stand D18. As several Vivid customers will already be aware, the
Matrix 530 has been under development for longer than was originally
anticipated, but it’s been reported that it’s so good it’s well worth the wait.
The main advantage of this new system over other single sided
models on the market is apparent, with a retail price of under £8,000
for a system that will laminate up to 10 metres per minute.
The Matrix 530 is capable of laminating all paper sizes up to SRA2
and is ideal for smaller documents too. It features an easy semi
automated feed system and rear separator for cutting prints into
individual sheets, ready for the final stage of trimming.
Further desirable features include side lays which eliminate any
guess work when feeding prints, so work is always accurately
laminated and separated and an overlap system which prevents
miss-feeds. The built in anti-curl bar also eliminates the worry of
a wavy finish and prints being less than perfect.

throughout the show.
