BTC Activewear C4<br />

BTC activewear has recognised a considerable opportunity for<br />

workwear, both for restaurant/bar staff and for tradesmen, such as<br />

builders, plumbers and electricians. To cater for this the company is<br />

offering a number of new iconic workwear brands for <strong>2009</strong> including<br />

Snickers, Caterpillar, Mascot, Kelly Hansen and Panoply. In addition<br />

The focus of the show on Stand K40 will be speed and quality and<br />

an emphasis on new and emerging ink and head technology. All<br />

bring the benefits of increased productivity, high quality and more<br />

consideration to the environment and users.<br />

Product wise, the company will be concentrating on the new<br />

H-Series of solvent inkjet printers from Seiko II, the ColorPainter<br />

H-104S and 74S in addition to the newly launched Epson Stylus<br />

Pro GS6000 – Epson’s first high quality solvent type 64” printer.<br />

The new Epson Stylus Pro 7900 and 9900 featuring the optional<br />

spectroproofer for high-end proofing applications as well as the<br />

addition of orange and green inks will also be demonstrated.<br />

The show will see the first public UK unveiling of the new<br />

H-Series of solvent inkjet printers from Seiko II, the ColorPainters<br />

H-74S and 104S. Combining high quality with high volume, the<br />

two models print at up to 55 sq.m./hour in 8-colour mode and 100<br />

s.qm./hour in 4-colour mode – considerably faster than nearest<br />

competing models.<br />

Using eight super-wide piezo heads at 720dpi, other features<br />

include Smart Pass Technology to reduce horizontal banding as well<br />

as double-drop technology, which creates high ink density levels by<br />

firing multiple drops without compromising speed.<br />
