A. Three worthy brothers (or brethren) who have<br />

been duly initiated, passed to the Degree <strong>of</strong><br />

Fellow Craft, raised to the Sublime Degree <strong>of</strong><br />

Master Mason, advanced to the Degree <strong>of</strong> Mark<br />

Master Mason, regularly passed the Chair--have<br />

been received and acknowledged as Most<br />

Excellent Masters, and now wish further<br />

promotion in Masonry, by being exalted to the<br />

Most Sublime Degree <strong>of</strong> a Royal Arch Mason.<br />

Q. What were you then asked?<br />

A. If it was an act <strong>of</strong> my own free will and<br />

accord, if I was worthy and well qualified, duly<br />

and truly prepared, if I had made suitable<br />

pr<strong>of</strong>iciencies in the preceding Degree, and was<br />

properly vouched for--all <strong>of</strong> which being<br />

answered in the affirmative,<br />
