Telephone company notification prior to connection of the <strong>CAT</strong>-<strong>300</strong> controller<br />
is no longer required. However, if requested by the telephone company you<br />
must provide the registration number: (4H1USA-21625-KX-E), ringer equivalency<br />
number: (REN 0.4B) and the line to which the <strong>CAT</strong>-<strong>300</strong> controller is connected.<br />
In the event the <strong>CAT</strong>-<strong>300</strong> should fail to operate properly, disconnect it from<br />
the telephone line until the controller is repaired. If service is needed<br />

FCC Part 15 RF Interference<br />
When installed in the RME-1000 rack mount enclosure, the <strong>CAT</strong>-<strong>300</strong> has been<br />
tested and found to meet the standards for a Class A digital device, as<br />
specified in Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These specifications are designed to<br />
provide reasonable protection against such interference in a commercial<br />
installation. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur<br />
in a particular installation.<br />
