No waxcaps found again. Here it was obvious that the grass cuttings were being left in situ which is not favourable
for any waxcap interest.

Much of the dune front at Ballybunion features hard engineering with large boulders fixing the dune front along the
golf course edge. This means there is no fungal interest in this habitat. The golf course itself had a few species in the
rough alongside some of the holes.
