The program is based in the SWQ regional town of Charleville and services Charleville and the<br />
surrounding districts of Cunnamulla, Tambo and Quilpie. This service is specified to service<br />
CharlevilleStateHighSchool,CharlevilleSchoolofDistantEducation,TamboStateSchool,Quilpie<br />
StateCollege,andCunnamullaStateHighSchool.<br />

Theserviceistargetedatyoungpeopleaged14to17yearswhoarenewlydisengagedorareatrisk<br />
of disengagement from education or training, or not transitioning to work including (but not<br />
confinedto)youngpeoplewho:<br />

TheYSCIwasfilledforthefirsttimein18monthsatthebeginningof2010.Thismeantthatalotof<br />
timeandeffortwasputintonetworkingandcollaboratingwithexistingserviceswithintherelevant<br />
communitiesandcontinuestobeemphasisedtodate.<br />

Todate,41individualshavereceivedvaryingdegreesofservicefromtheYSC.Additionally,anumber<br />
ofgroupworksandcommunitydevelopmenteventshavebeencompletedthrougheachdifferent<br />
schoolandcommunity.<br />

ThebiggestdevelopmentfortheYSCItodatehasbeenthechangesmadetotheYSCIasof1 st July<br />
2011.ThishasdirectlyaffectedourYSCprogrambyincludingCunnamullaintotheservicearea.
