Rent advice is<br />
well received by<br />
customers<br />
Customers have told The <strong>Gateshead</strong> <strong>Housing</strong> <strong>Company</strong> that<br />
the information they receive about their rent and charges is<br />
useful.<br />
Options to pay rent, such as online or at PayPoint outlets, and<br />
how customers feel they are dealt with by the company also<br />
scored highly in the recent survey to 5,000 tenants picked at<br />
random.<br />
Despite challenging times and increased rents, 95.8% of<br />
tenants who completed the survey (975 out of 1,018) were<br />
still satisfied with the available options to pay rent.<br />
The survey also saw an increase in customers paying their<br />
rent at PayPoint locations, Post Offices and online, with a<br />
reduction in customers making payments at housing offices.<br />
