*** A collection of responses written by a German Rabbi who settled<br />
in Padua after the expulsion of Jews from Mainz in 1416. This work<br />
is divided into three parts, one of which includes a work written<br />
by the author’s son, Abraham Minz, about divorce. Of particular<br />
interest is the fifth response that allows a pregnant prostitute to<br />
marry to protect herself and her husband from public shame.<br />

*** At the end of the work is the famous letter addressed to the son<br />
of Nachmanides from Jerusalem in which he describes the living<br />
