*** A collection of responses written by a German Rabbi who settled
in Padua after the expulsion of Jews from Mainz in 1416. This work
is divided into three parts, one of which includes a work written
by the author’s son, Abraham Minz, about divorce. Of particular
interest is the fifth response that allows a pregnant prostitute to
marry to protect herself and her husband from public shame.

*** At the end of the work is the famous letter addressed to the son
of Nachmanides from Jerusalem in which he describes the living
conditions in Israel after the invasion of the Tartar hordes in 1260.
