Education/Leadership Development Partnerships<br />
<strong>Weber</strong> <strong>Shandwick</strong> partnered with the Ron Brown<br />
Scholar Program, which provides academic scholarships,<br />
service opportunities and leadership experiences for<br />
young African Americans of outstanding promise by<br />
underwriting events, providing speakers, mentoring and<br />
hiring scholars. <strong>Weber</strong> <strong>Shandwick</strong> chairman Jack Leslie<br />
joined the Program’s board of trustees.<br />
<strong>Weber</strong> <strong>Shandwick</strong> strengthened its partnership with the<br />
LAGRANT Foundation, an organization that provides<br />
scholarships, educational support and career advisement<br />
for minorities. Gail Heimann, vice chair, serves on the board<br />
of directors and Andy Polansky, CEO , is on the host<br />
committee. In 2011, <strong>Weber</strong> <strong>Shandwick</strong> participated in a<br />
day-long career development workshop for the Foundation’s<br />
scholarship winners.<br />
