UN Foundation: Sustainable Energy for All (SEFA) Initiative<br />
<strong>Weber</strong> <strong>Shandwick</strong> worked with the United Nations Foundation and<br />
the United Nations to launch the global Sustainable Energy for<br />
All initiative. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon identified this<br />
initiative as one of the most important priorities for his second term<br />
and is calling on governments, the private sector and civil society to<br />
make commitments toward three objectives – universal access to<br />
modern energy services, doubling the global rate of improvements<br />
in energy efficiency, and doubling the share of renewable energy<br />
in the global energy mix by 2030. <strong>Weber</strong> <strong>Shandwick</strong> managed the<br />
launch of the initiative and provided strategic communications<br />
