4.19 INTRODUCTION As part of the 5 - band design scheme the design study was conducted for the artisans of Sipajhar Cane & Bamboo Cluster, Darrang, Assam. After the submission of the report to MSME a design clinic workshop was planned based on the problems faced by the artisans and opportunity identified during the survey. The workshop helped to come up with short term and long terms design interventions possibility. The workshop is planned to conduct in the village of Sipajhar.. As the workshop is for the benefit of the artisans, the spot solutions are also given to them. many modern machineries would be use in the workshop which will help them to upgrade their production and get a better market.
