Number of iterations in the pendulum method resulting in balancing in one direction. The
pendulum method can be imagined like this: The nodes on level n are fixed on the ceiling.
The pendulum swings times. Then the nodes on level n + 1 are fixed on the ceiling,
i.e. the pendulum is turned upside down. Now it swings again times. This process
of turning is iterated at least the number of times given by the -pmin.
