The PO file is used to indicate movement of pallet(s) for export, depot transfer or local consignment.
For export; it links pallets to exporting information.
For deport transfer, it indicates new location of pallets.
For local consignment, it indicates that the pallet is not in the control of the current
exporter.
File rules:
Filename convention: File Type + OriginatorID + BatchNo + DateTime
File format can be hierarchy (xml) or flat file. CSV files are not EDI compliant and
Field Rules:
Field No 1 - Event Date/Time
This is the date and time that the EDI file was created. Is a mandatory field and the format of the
date time must be yyyymmdd hh:mm:ss.
Field No 2 – System
Indicate the name of the system/ISP that generates the EDI file. PPECB will not allocate the
identifier for the system but through discussion with a new ISP wishing to submit EDI information an
identifier will be agreed upon. This is a 25 character alpha numeric field and mandatory.
