Field No 3 – Originator_ID
PPECB EDiN WEB PORTAL – Technical Handbook
EDiN requires the FBO code of the Location or Organisation submitting the file. The FBO code is
allocated by DAFF to all farms, packhouses, coldstores and exporters. This is a 10 character alpha
numberic field and mandatory.
Field No 4 – BatchNo
Indicate a unique identifier for a grouping of information in the EDI file submitted from the ISP
system and used by the ISP to trace back to the grouped information in the EDI file submitted. This is
a 20 character alpha numeric field and mandatory.
Field No 5 – EDiN_Version
Used by EDI for validation of EDI file and is a 5 character alpha numeric and mandatory.
Field No 6 – Document Number
Identify consignement/intake number on originator system. Used for linking to Inspections and for
pallet updates. Field will accept up to a 10 character alpha numeric and mandatory.
Field No 7 – Document Date/Time
Identify transaction date that document was created. Is a mandatory field and the format of the
date time must be yyyymmdd hh:mm:ss.
Field No 8 – PHC
Identify pack house that packed pallet, only valid FBO packhouse codes will be accepted. This field is
an optional field, if supplied on Consignment level then all pallets in consignment will be linked PHC.
FBO Master Data is sourced from PPECB.
Field No 9 – Location
Identify location that is supplying EDI information, only valid FBO codes will be accepted. This is a 7
alpha numberic field and is mandatory. PPECB will maintain a Paltrack Location code mapping to
FBO codes where a FBO code can’t be provided in this field. FBO Master Data is sourced from
PPECB.
