The MT file is used to indicate movement of pallet(s) for export, it links pallets to exporting<br />

information.<br />

File rules:<br />

Filename convention: File Type + OriginatorID + BatchNo + DateTime<br />

File format can be hierarchy (xml) or flat file. CSV files are not EDI compliant and<br />

File rules:<br />

Field No 1 - Event Date/Time<br />

This is the date and time that the EDI file was created. Is a mandatory field and the format of the<br />

date time must be yyyymmdd hh:mm:ss.<br />

Field No 2 – System<br />

Indicate the name of the system/ISP that generates the EDI file. <strong>PPECB</strong> will not allocate the<br />

identifier for the system but through discussion with a new ISP wishing to submit EDI information an<br />

identifier will be agreed upon. This is a 25 character alpha numeric field and mandatory.<br />

Field No 3 – Originator_ID<br />

<strong>EDiN</strong> requires the FBO code of the Location or Organisation submitting the file. The FBO code is<br />

allocated by DAFF to all farms, packhouses, coldstores and exporters. This is a 10 character alpha<br />

numberic field and mandatory.<br />
