File format can be hierarchy (xml) or flat file. CSV files are not EDI compliant and<br />

The PM (pallet change) file is used to show changes to the pallet created via the PI (Intake). A PM<br />

change will not be applied if the corresponding Pallet does not exist on the <strong>EDiN</strong> database.<br />

Change Types:<br />

1. RL – Relabelled: Pallet barcode has been changed and the Pallet configuration is still the<br />

same.<br />

2. AL – Add Layer: Pallet layer has been removed from ‘Logistical Unit ID’ and added to ‘New<br />

Logistical Unit ID’.<br />

3. SC – Specification Change: Pallet configuration has changed.<br />

4. EC – Exporter Change: Exporter (organisation) for pallet has changed<br />

5. FL – Full Pallet: Alternative to using change types 1 – 4, submit full pallet detail information<br />

to apply changes to <strong>EDiN</strong>.<br />
